Every Thursday from April 18th to August 29th inclusive: Grounds open from 11.00 to 16.30. Picnickers welcome in designated areas. Light lunch served from 12.00 in the Cruck Frame Barn and the Tented Pavilion. Donation £7.50 for adults, Free for Children up to the age of 16 years.

Visits by groups, clubs and societies can be arranged at other times by appointment. The minimum number for such a visit is normally 30.
For groups of people with special needs the minimum is 10. Weekday visits for a few people can sometimes be accommodated.

Buggy Tours Chauffeured tours by golf buggy (discretionary donation), are available on Sundays and most Thursdays. Priority is given to people with disabilities.
The Railway: Barnards Farm Railway always runs on Thursdays during school holidays and during our 2 Sunday openings but is also open approaching Christmas and on some additional Sundays, click here to visit the railway website for running days. This is a unique way of seeing the garden from another lower point of view!.
Usually quieter days with light lunches available as well as picnic space. A chance to catch the Crab apple blossom and spring flowers as well as the early flowering shrubs. There are two well signed tours to follow (the Red and Blue Routes) which shows you most of the garden away from the house and a good proportion of the 79 sculptures.
Winter Lights Express Trains will run on November 9th and November 10th.
Santa Express Trains will run on the 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th December.
Loyalty Cards: On Thursdays visitors may have a card stamped 6 times to earn a free entry for any garden open, Thursday or Sunday.
Join the Sculpture tour at 14:30, to not only see a large number of the sculptures and hear about them but also to see large parts of the garden.
As well as the railway the Motor Museum is open as is the 1921 Cycle Shop. Archery is available and Driving lessons in a 1924 Model T Ford are given (free to Children between 8 and 16).
